All these are in size #28. I have special memories of this hook. I was told that up eyed hooks were for dry flies and down eyed for wet flies. Now you can hardly find up eyed trout hooks. I like them. They look cute in a way. Especially in small sizes. These are some of my experiments at the vice waiting for the next season. I think that this fly in different incarnations will do good. It looks kind of buggy. Until the next post ...

  2. Hi Brk Trt!

Thanks! Yes, I'm in a tiny fly mood right now. Experimenting with various hooks. Preparing for a fly swap I'd like to do one of the coming days.

Keep on taking fine trout in small streams,

  3. Hi Lester!

It's just a matter of practise. I don't have anything against the snow. It gets lighter and as you say it's beautiful. But it's to cold when it gets below 20 degrees centigrade. Thanks for your comment.

    Enjoy the beauty of Montana,
